Garmin has done it again with the new and improved Quest 2. What makes this Multi-purpose GPS so great? First Garmin decided to manufacture the Quest 2 with preloaded MapSource City Select, making it ready to go right out of the box. The Garmin Quest 2 can provide turn-by-turn voice directions through the supplied 12-volt cigarette lighter with speaker, just enter the address or Point of Interest and the Quest 2 will get you there.
The pre-installed Mapsource City Select Street Data has coverage from Navteq for the entire United States, major Canadian cities, as well as coverage for Puerto Rico. The Quest 2 can also sort multiple destinations to give you an efficient route through your points, ideal for traveling sales people and delivery routes. The Garmin Quest 2 will allow you to customize road segments and avoid areas, and also with the push of one button will route you home with the "One-Button Home" feature. Whether bicycling, on a boat, motorcycle, ATV, in your car or walking down the street, the Garmin Quest 2 can do it all!
The Quest 2 has a 256 Color, high resolution, reflective TFT display and a flip up antenna equipped with a 12-Channel WAAS GPS receiver, which will supply position accuracy up to 9 feet* and is powered by a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery for up to 20 hours of use. In addition, the Quest also has 140 Megabytes of memory that is ready to accept maps from any of Garmin's MapSource CD-ROMs.
The Quest 2 is waterproof to IPX7 standards(submersible in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes) and other features include 500 waypoints and 10,000 track points and a USB interface for fast Mapsource downloads.
